Al Baik chicken to open first ever drive-through in Dubai

Al Baik fans who don’t want to wait in mall queues can get excited now. A drive through service is being opened by Al Baik fried chicken.

Saudi’s famous fried chicken store will soon open its first drive-through sale point in the UAE. The new point will be at Al Rashidiya area in Dubai, the drive-through is located at the Eppco petrol station.

Al Baik has earned a reputation among residents for its delicious food and affordable prices, and it has become a popular fast food restaurant for locals and tourists.

The new drive-through will be eighth one of Al Baik’s location in the UAE.

Some of the most popular menu items are the chicken nugget meal, the chicken meal, the double burger, and the chicken fillet sandwich.

The Al Baik team told media that the new location will have a limited items menu, which will, of course, include some of the favorite of the fans.

The drive-through soft launches will happen next week and will host a grand opening after Eid Al Fitr.

Cars will not be queuing

If you’re worried about long lines, the team at Al Baik have already figured that bit out.

There will be multiple mobile points of sale, so people can order and pay via their app, which means that cars do not have to queue as the customers do in malls.

The company was established in 1974 by Saudi entrepreneur Shakour AbuGhazalah first opened Albaik in a warehouse in Jeddah’s Sharafiyah district nearly 50 years ago. The family secured an exclusive agreement with a foreign company for the “proprietary use of deep-fried chicken spice blend and equipment.” Although the spice blend remains a secret, the chicken is believed to be fried in a pressure cooker using a technique called “broasting.”
