UAE Travel Conditions Revised: Vaccine Recipients No Quarantine

Abu Dhabi: Recipients of two doses of the vaccine arriving in Abu Dhabi from abroad do not need to stay in the quarantine, the National Disaster Management Committee has said. The new law will take effect on the 5th of this month. 

Travel rules have been revised for all nationals, expatriates, tourists and visitors. Passengers who do not receive the vaccine from countries not on the green list must stay in the quarantine for 10 days.

At the same time, all passengers entering Abu Dhabi must present a negative PCR certificate taken within 48 hours of departure. 

Passengers who have received the vaccine from green-listed countries must undergo a PCR test, even if they do not have a quarantine when they arrive in Abu Dhabi. Additionally, the PCR should be checked on the sixth day of stay in Abu Dhabi. 

Vaccine recipients from other countries are also required to undergo PCR testing even if they do not have quarantine when they arrive in Abu Dhabi.  These category is required to take the test and should be performed on the fourth and eighth day. The day of arrival is calculated as first day.

Citizens on the green list who do not receive the vaccine must undergo a PCR test when they arrive in Abu Dhabi, and no quarantine is required. These passengers are required to repeat the test and should be performed on the sixth day and nineth day.

Indigenous people, expatriates and visitors who have not received the vaccine from other countries should undergo a PCR test when they arrive in Abu Dhabi. They must stay in the quarantine for 10 days and undergo a PCR test on the ninth day.

Countries on Abu Dhabi's Green List

India is not yet on Abu Dhabi's green list. Countries included are: Albania, Armenia, Australia, Austria, Bahrain, Belgium, Bhutan, Brunei, Bulgaria, Canada, China, Comoros, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Hong Kong, Jordan, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Luxembourg, Maldives, Malta, Mauritius, Moldova, Morocco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Oman, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Republic of Ireland, Romania, San Marina, San Marina Sowakia, Sovenia, South Korea, Sweden, Switzerland, Tewan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine.
