Important update for Passengers arriving in Sharjah Airport.

It is mandatory for passengers to download and activate UAE Fast Track and ICA UAE Smart applications on smart phones.

UAE Fast Track Application provides a chance for the passenger to further streamline and enhance the experience of their journey with a document-free process using the identity management and biometric finger print recognition.

Manafth is the authority that has issued UAE Fast track app. General Authority of Ports, Borders and Free Zones Security (Manafth) is the entity in charge of enhancing the security capabilities of the UAE at its ports, borders and in the free zones.

The authority works under the Supreme Council for National Security on standardising the necessary security procedures and requirements, particularly checking on the entry and exit of persons and goods at ports and in the free zones.

Travel guidelines for Arrivals

All arriving passengers to Sharjah must have a negative PCR test report, with a validity of 96hrs before departure.

Travelers will have to undergo another PCR test upon arrival at Sharjah Airport regardless of their earlier negative report.

All passengers must wear the mask at all times.

Practice the social distancing of 2 meters inside the airport Terminal.

Every arriving passenger must receive a Declaration Form at check-in point or onboard the flight) and fill it to hand it over to the registration team on arrival.

All arriving passengers must conduct self-quarantine in their place of stay in UAE until they receive the PCR negative result. 

In the case of positive result, then the protocols of the UAE ministry of Health will be implemented.

If UAE Nationals return from the RED list countries, then they are required to have a PCR no more than 48hrs before arrival into Sharjah. 

All other origin countries without restrictions do not need a PCR certificate before travel to Sharjah.

TRAVEL GUIDELINES – Departures

  • Please check with your airline regarding the PCR test and medical requirements of your destination.
  • Departing passengers must come to Sharjah Airport not more than 4 hours before their flight departure time
  • All passengers must wear the mask at all times.
  • Practice the social distancing of 2 meters inside the airport Terminal
  • Only departing passengers holding valid tickets will be allowed into the airport Terminal

Smart journey through Sharjah Airport

Sharjah-Airport Authority is keen to enhance the leading role by improving the experience of passengers and customers in line with the authority’s vision of providing integrated smart services that start before arriving at the airport through the services and information provided by the smart application, through to arrival at the airport with Smart gates that enable travelers to clear their transactions more quickly and at a rate of 20 seconds per passenger, and finally through to boarding the plane, where the automated boarding pass system verifies all data.

  1. Is UAE fast track is applicable for kids below 15, as the app requires uploading vaccination and PCR reports.12 year old can have a PCR but not vaccinated.whereas, 5year old are neither vaccinated nor can have a PCR. Please specify
