The Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Committee has approved the use of the Green Pass in the Alhosn app, which is based on the emirate’s four-pillar Covid-19 strategy, which focuses on vaccination, active contract tracking, and safe entry and preventive measures.
The Green Pass program is only used for safe access to shopping centers and large supermarkets, gyms, hotels and indoor facilities, parks and beaches, private beaches and swimming pools, entertainment centers, cinemas and museums, restaurants and cafes.

The Committee made it clear that these procedures complement existing and approved procedures for important sector activities and apply to people over 16 years of age. The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP) approves the new system of green pass for Al Hosn App Users in United Arab Emirates: six different user categories are added.
The new color coding system of the Al Hosn app shows the user's vaccination status and the effectiveness of the COVID-19 PCR test.
