Abu Dhabi has revised the mandatory Covid-19 testing rules and the home isolation/ quarantine requirements for arrivals of UAE citizens and residents in the emirate who are already vaccinated.
Starting Monday, May 3, travelers who have been vaccinated and arriving from countries/regions on the "Green List" will have to undergo PCR testing upon arrival and following on the sixth day without quarantine. These group of travellers not need quarantine.
Vaccinated residents and citizens from non-greenlisted countries must undergo PCR testing on arrival and be quarantined for five days. On the fourth day after you arrive in the UAE, another PCR test is required.
The new update for travel applies to UAE vaccinated Citizens and Abu Dhabi residents who received the second dose of vaccine at least 28 days before. The vaccination report must be recorded in the Alhosn app.

The Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Committee which announced the new travel rules on Sunday added that non-vaccinated citizens and residents of Abu Dhabi arriving from the green list countries must take a PCR test on arrival. They do not need to quarantine, but must take two other PCR tests on days six and 12.
At the same time, unvaccinated citizens of United Arab Emirates and residents arriving from countries not on the green list must take a PCR test on arrival, quarantine themselves for ten days and repeat a PCR test on eighth day.
As per the current green list issued by authorities in Abu Dhabi, effective April 25, it included 23 destinations. These included:

- Greenland
- Hong Kong (SAR)
- Iceland
- Israel
- Japan
- Mauritius
- Morocco
- New Zealand
- Portugal
- Russia
- Saudi Arabia
- Singapore
- South Korea
- Switzerland
- Taiwan (ROC)
- Tajikistan
- United Kingdom
- Uzbekistan
