New Covid-19 vaccine and testing centre opened in Ajman

The new centre for Covid-19 vaccination and PCR testing is located in the Sheikh Zayed Exhibitions and Conferences Hall at Ajman University.

The newly opened Covid-19 testing and vaccination centre at Ajman University provides free services to all citizens, residents and the university’s students and staff, reported by news agency WAM.

The new centre was started in cooperation with the Ajman Medical Zone and Tamouh Health Care. This venture is an academic partnership between Ajman University and Tamouh Health Care.

The services provided include both Covid-19 PCR nasal swab tests as well as the rapid DPI testing.

The centre is open for 12 hours daily from Saturday to Thursday (Service is not available on Fridays).

Separate rooms are arranged here for men and women. Emirates ID is required and you need to provide a copy of valid Emirates ID to undergo the Covid-19 test or receive the vaccine.

The related Covid-19 news from the Ajman emirate, stated that the permits for all Ramadan tents and Iftar gatherings in 2021 have been cancelled.

Restaurants and cafes in Ajman have been ordered to close their operations daily by 11pm, 

All schools and nurseries in Ajman are still not permitted for In-classroom learning  and suspended indefinitely last month.

UAE’s Ministry of Education shifts all schools and nurseries to 100% distance or remote learning in Ajman.
