Abu Dhabi Police launches the "urgent notifications for drivers" feature by applying it to smartphones to alert drivers during volatile weather conditions such as rain, fog, dust and dust, as well as in traffic congestion situations, which enhances the safety of drivers and gives them opportunities to choose alternative roads at an early stage.

Dubai had also launched earlier a similar Free Service from Dubai Police to Alert Drivers of Traffic Jams and Road Closures.

The Abu Dhabi notifications will be shown to users who have installed Abu Dhabi police app on their smartphones. The app allows to view your driving license expiry, vehicles registered under your name and their expiry, view and pay the traffic fines, view the summary of already paid traffic fines, view the receipts of the transactions.

The smartphone application also has the traffic services, security services and community services. The app also enables to get Final clearance certificate, register black points, know the historical fines and vehicle confiscation or compounding details.
