Federal Human Resources: A new update of measures to address # Covid_19 in federal ministries and agencies includes a nose swab PCR test for employees every 7 days, with the exception for those who received two doses of the vaccine.
Employees working in the government sector who have completed both doses of their Covid vaccines will get exemption from the above rule, the authority added which means that the persons who have received two doses of vaccination don't need to take PCR test.
Previously, the rule required that all federal govt. employees were required to undergo the PCR test every fourteen days at their own expense.
If the health condition of employees prevent them from taking the Covid vaccine then they are required to take a Covid PCR test. However, the charges for this will be paid by the entity they are working.
The new procedures are the actions followed by the UAE government’s for addressing the pandemic, controlling its spread and repercussions, and for protecting the health of the employees.
Meanwhile, on Sunday, January 17 the Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA) issued a circular, asking the teachers and other staff working at private schools to take the Covid-19 test every 14 days.
