RAK Police to implement the mandatory 15 driving training sessions.

The Ras Al Khaimah (RAK) Police on Sunday morning made the announcement about new driving licence rules in the emirate for all applicants such as mandatory 15 driving classes.

The Director-General of the Central Operations, Brigadier Dr Mohammed Saeed Al Humaidi, RAK Police, said the new rules issued are obligatory for all applicants for a driving licence.

“The move is aimed at improving traffic safety in the emirate and the night training lessons are essential prior to appearing for a test that will help applicants to learn how to drive safely after dark,” he added.

Brigadier Humaidi said that applicants for a driving licence would also need to clear night training lessons.

The new rules issued by RAK Police are praised by the residents in UAE and commented that the night lessons will improve the skills of new drivers in night driving. The driving lessons are intended to become familiar with the nature of UAE roads and traffic laws which differ from one country to another. The new drivers are trained to be aware of the UAE rules and ensure the road safety.
