The UAE had earlier resumed the group prayers at mosques from July 1 with less people than the actual capacity while the Friday Jumua prayers at Masjids were suspensed.
Mosques will now open of Friday's with 30 per cent of their capacity for the Jumua prayers, the authorities stated during the virtual briefing.
The mosques will be open for 30 minutes before the khutbah and will close thirty minutes after the prayer.
In a total time of 10 minutes, the Khutbah and prayer will be finished.

The Ablution facilities & washrooms at UAE masjids will remain closed. The people coming to mosque are advised to do the ablution from their home.
For all other prayers, Masjid's door will be opened 15 minutes before the prayers. For the Maghrib prayers the doors will be opened five minutes prior and all mosques closes ten minutes after the prayer.
The face masks is mandatory for worshippers during the prayers and they must always bring their own prayer mats. The elderly and those with weak immunity should avoid going to the masjids.
