UAE reopens issuing entry permits

The Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship of UAE has resumed and restarted issuance of the entry permits except work permits, the announcement on Thursday morning stated by WAM agency.

The ICA authority earlier in March had decided to temporarily suspend the issuing of visas, except to diplomatic passport holders, to curb the spreading of coronavirus Covid-19. The decision to suspend the issuance of visas as part of the UAE's efforts to combat the spread of the coronavirus.

The Reopening of the entry permit service is within the scope by government of easing restrictions and building up the emirate's efforts towards supporting and maintaining the recovery plans of the country's economy.
