Apply entry permit easily through ICA App or website

The Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship (ICA) on Monday announced on twitter and made it easier for public to apply for the UAE entry permit. The people who wish to return to the country can now apply for the permit by visiting the official website http://ica.gov.ae or download the smartphone app "ICA UAE eChannels".

A user needs to first register in the website or app and create an account, UAE Pass, submit the entry permit application, pay the fees and receive the entry permit via email in easy steps.

The federal authority has asked customers to be careful while entering data to provide valid and accurate information.

"Please make sure you enter your ID number and expiry date correctly when applying for renewal or replacement. Make sure the data you enter into the digital application form are correct before paying the fees to avoid delays in processing of application," the authority said in its tweet on the official twitter handle.

The authority noted that accurate data will ensure swift processing of applications within the set timeframe.

"Ensure data like phone number, email address and delivery method are entered correctly in the digital application form. The data entered will be reviewed and validated by the ICA."

The ICA website is easy to use and in my experience google chrome browser is working fine.
