The Sharjah jungle safari project is the new plan from the Government of Sharjah and is ready to open in Sharjah's Al Dhaid region by November 2020, His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, has made the announcement.
Approximately 130,000 trees have been planted and growing to create this new home for several types of animals, Sheikh Sultan said in a call to the Al Khat Al Mubashed TV show.
The jungle safari is expected to need 50,000 cubic meters of water for every day irrigation and usage. To ensure that the project remains eco-friendly, the recycled water shall be used to meet this requirement.
A rocky mountain has been cut to make the Khorfakkan theater, and the square in the theater for ceremonies, and in front of them parking lots for vehicles. A waterfall near the theater is also there which is called the Cave Waterfall.
