The Comments regarding this has not come from GDRFA and are still awaited.

A customer service staff at an Amer branch said that they have started receiving applications for residency and visit visas and there are no restrictions on nationalities.

"Applications are now received but it will take some time before approval is issued," an employee stated. "For the tourist visas, applicants must apply at the tourism agencies."

The employee also noted that their offices would close during Eid holidays and reopen on Monday August 3.

Travel agents confirmed that the visit visa applications they submitted to GDRFA are getting approved for all nationalities, including Indians.

As per the message from Dnata visa services received by some people individuals can start apply for visit visas for all nationalities with the exception of a few countries, including Pakistan and Bangladesh.

Many UAE residents whose children and family members are stuck outside the country are happy now that they can bring them back on visit visas. Some people are not able to come back to UAE since they don't have a valid UAE Visa.
