Breaking News: Residents told to Eid Al Adha prayers at home

Muslims residing in the UAE have been asked to offer the Eid Al Adha prayers at home. The Eid Takbeer will be broadcast through different masjids in the UAE on the morning of the Eid Al Adha day.

"During the Eid Al Adha break, the preference must be given to avoid family gatherings. Use social media and telecommunications tools like video calling to communicate between during the Eid holidays," a top authority said on Wednesday.

The official has advised residents to not distribute gifts or cash among the relatives and use the online methods.
