The UAE has started on Thursday an action plan to permit residency visa holders to come back to the Emirates.
The nation said it focuses on the arrival of around 200,000 residency visa holders, in cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship.
Before this, the UAE had endorsed the returning of 31,000 individuals between March 25 and June 8.
Khaled Abdullah Belhoul, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, said that the following stage will concentrate on the returning of families.
Residency visa holders who need to come back to the UAE must register their request on the website
smartservices.ica.gov.ae and afterward book a flight ticket on getting the approval reference from the authority.
The authority added that all individuals coming back to the UAE must get tested for Covid-19 on the arrival to the country, and they must remain in quarantine either at government institutions or home quarantine for a time of 14 days, and individuals should pay for the expenses for quarantine.
The people must download Al Hosn mobile app that allows the authorities to track and inform the individual for the health and safety.
