Kids in car Police warning for Parents in UAE
The Ajman Police have warned and cautioned Parents against leaving their kids unattended in vehicles.

With a ban existing for kids under 10 years to enter shopping malls and other public spots, a number of parents are leaving their kids in cars while they enter shopping malls or supermarkets.

As indicated by the police, taking into account of the Covid-19 limitations on taking kids under 10 years old to supermarkets and shopping malls, parents leave the children in vehicles with the engine running and air conditioning system turned on while they go out to shop.

"Parents must know that such an act is punishable by law as it poses risk to the child's life," the Ajman police posted in social media warned the people.

The warning issued as a part of the campaign to create awareness titled "Your responsibility", started to limit the unsafe activities that are harmful during the UAE's battle against Covid-19.

"It is risky to disregard small kids inside the vehicles, particularly with the high temperature outside. The hot temperature causes air conditioning in the cars to emit harmful gases that could make suffocation to the children. This could even turn out to be deadly".
