UAE made the negative Covid-19 test result as a criteria for residents to be permitted for onboard the flights.
All UAE residents right now stuck abroad and needing to return must finish a Covid-19 test, the UAE government has declared.
The individuals who don't have a Covid negative test taken inside 72 hours of take-off won't be allowed to board the airplane.
This is a piece of the key rules reported on Sunday by the National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority and the Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship for residents with valid visa to come back to the nation beginning July 1.
The Covid-19 test need to be conducted at accredited authorized laboratories spread across 106 cities in 17 nations around the world, said the officials. More nations will be added to the list in the coming days as part of the second and third stages.
Residents can get the access to the list of licensed laboratory facilities on smartservices.ica.gov.ae. The laboratories know about the time limitations and will deliver the results on time.
For residents coming back from countries without an authorized laboratory, Covid-19 tests can be done upon arrival back in the UAE. Residents and citizens should quarantine for 14 days either at home or take institutional quarantine.
All expenses for quarantining and medical help will be borne by the person. In certain specific cases, companies that employ the returning residents need to make payment for such expenses.
Every single returning resident are required to download the smart phone application which will allow observation and monitoring by government health agencies while the individual is staying in quarantine.
