Various individuals of different nationalities have been caught in UAE for violation of Covid-19 official safety rules, Wam news reported on Friday. 

The Spokesperson of Emergency and Crisis Prosecution has reported that as a major aspect of the nation's efforts to battle Covid-19, contain its spread, and guarantee the adherence of UAE residents and citizens to directions gave by the relevant authorities, various individuals of different nationalities have been caught in violation of official rules.

He showed that the violations committed included failure to comply with quarantine facilities measures, leaving home during timing of curfew, not following the quarantine instructions and violating compulsory hospitalisation, violating prohibitions and restrictions on gatherings and assemblies/meetings in public places, farms and estates, and non-compliance with quarantine instructions in private establishments.

He included that legal move has been made and charges filed against them, including that fines for these violations start from Dh3,000 to Dh50,000, depend upon the nature of the violation. 

The Public Prosecution has called upon people in general to follow strictly to preventive and precautionary measures, laws, guidelines, and decisions gave by government officials and said that ''violators will be subject to legal action."

The Public Prosecution confirmed that it would make legal action against each one of the individuals who don't adhere to measures to control the spread of coronavirus to ensure the safety and security and protect the health of UAE community and to help government efforts to contain the health, economy, and social effect of the coronavirus.
