Ajman cinemas, gyms to restart operations by Covid-19 safety rules

A number of Ajman business organizations will be permitted to continue economic operations from Sunday (May 31), it has been reported. 

This has been affirmed under ''Guidelines and Protocols for Reopening of Economic Activities'', the Department of Economic Development in Ajman (DED-Ajman) said. 

Cinemas, gyms, fitness clubs, kids' saloons just as valet parking and vehicle washing services can continue at 50 percent of their all full capacity with strict ban on social gatherings.

The retail and wholesale business segments can likewise continue by working at 70 percent of their complete limit while employee limit is increased to 70 percent. 

The "Rules and Protocols for Reopening of Economic Activities" refers to all the safety measures and preventive measures to restrict the spread of Covid-19. 

The rules have been declared ahead of time of Sunday to guarantee organizations are arranged and prepared to continue and completely follow the guidance, rules and advices issued. 

As indicated by the protocols, individuals above  60 and children under 12 will be permitted to visit health centres and clinics inside retail centers, given that they make pre-arrangement date, are joined by an adult and inform security men on arrival.

Valet parking services will be available in assigned spots, including shopping centers and hotels, following execution of preventive and safety precautions by the staff.

DED-Ajman called for companies to stick to previous Guidelines and Protocols during the time of the National Disinfection Program, use temperature scanners to test workers and guests, give hand sanitisers and keep up social distancing of two meters. 

The "Rules and Protocols for Reopening of Economic Activities" plan to guarantee the healthy wellbeing and safety of the community and avoid the disturbance of efforts to stop the spread of coronavirus.
