The sterilisation will be carried out daily from 8pm until 6am the following morning and restrictions in the movement of traffic will continue.
Those who are violating will be punished with heavy fine starting from 500 up to 10,000. So please be home during these days.
The sterilisation programme, which began on Thursday evening at 8pm as part of a drive to protect the residents from the Covid-19 coronavirus, was to initially last until 6am on Sunday.
UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention and the Ministry of Interior on Saturday announced that the national sterilisation programme has been extended until April 5.
